Bordelon of Alexandria children, William Brent Bordelon and wife, Patricia of Boyce, Robert Ray Bordelon, Sr. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Mary A. His parents, Alfred Bordelon and Loney Villamarette two brothers, Milburn and Silton Bordelon four sisters, Celcia Ann Cahee, Agnes Ducote, Grace Juneau, and Theresa Thompson one son, Ronald Wayne Bordelon, and one stepdaughter, Mary Louise Barkdull precede him in death. He is remembered by his family as a loving husband, father, stepfather, and grandfather. He was a kind person, always willing to help others. Army and obtained the rank of Seargeant, earning two Bronze Stars. He served in the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Rita Catholic Church, Alexandria and a Master Mason with Cedar Grove Lodge #403 in Shreveport. Bordelon, 78, of Alexandria, passed away on Friday, Decemin Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Tuesday, Decemin the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ball with Fr. Services for Melvin Bordelon will be held at 2 p.m.
